Art Exhibit tackles environmental issues


Tubod, Lanao del Norte – March 22 – April 22, the Provincial Tourism Office in full support of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte proudly presented a one month-long art exhibit that mainly focuses on one of the scorching issues that concerns all nations in all over the world, the climate change.
Local artist from in and around the province convened to take part in this advocacy to awaken the senses of the citizens on the ongoing effects of climate change and to be able to come up with measures on how we can stop and prevent ecosystem and every human being from fatal destruction.
Various paintings and artworks made of recycled materials are currently displayed in the lobby of the provincial capitol building and are being sold in affordable prizes.
In this exhibit, one can experience the splendid beauty of Mother Nature and appreciate the bounty that she bestows on humankind.
Further, this exhibit aims at building global awareness in the catastrophic effects of climate change that will also affect natural tourists’ attractions and will eventually doom tourism industry.
The artists behind these arts call to help save Mother Earth and let us teach ourselves and our children to love nature and how important it is to safeguard the world. ARMS/ PIO-LDN
