A series of education forums have been conducted by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte to enhance leadership among teachers and update teachers’ skills by identifying recurrent problems encountered by teachers and proper dealings with students who have troubles coming to schools.

These forums include workshops which were able to bring out issues concerning essential school reforms that will go with the changing demands in the global world.

Throughout the workshop, teachers participated in the decision-making and mapping out a paradigm on how to come up with highly empowered teaching techniques that will enhance their efficiency, efficacy and creativity.

“My administration has been able to craft a 5-year development plan for the education system in Lanao del Norte thus to create a strong bond between the teachers and the local government,” said Gov. Khalid Q. Dimaporo.

Mrs. Aida T. Amocillo, school principal of Mangga Elementary School, Kolambugan District, expressed her happiness during an interview that she was indeed very grateful with the forum because she was able to learn some teaching strategies being shared by her fellow teachers from different schools.

This program of Gov. Khalid is in consonance of the attainment of “Vision 2020” thus to make Lanao del Norte globally competitive community with strengthened education systems and policies.  ARMS-PIO/LDN
