Tubod, Lanao del Norte – Rural Health Units (RHU) in the town of Kapatagan, this province receive medicines from 2nd District Congresswoman Fatima Aliah Q. Dimaporo.


This support to the health sector is part of Dimaporo’s initiative to improve the health services offered by the local RHUs.


The medicines were delivered to the RHUs last February 25 by the congressional staff and received by OIC Public Health Nurse Zaida Secuya.


The delivered medicines were for the treatment of the common colds, cough, and headaches. Boxes of antibiotics and pain relievers were also given by the young congresswoman.


There were more than 1,500 medicines turned over to the municipality of Kapatagan.


“I am very thankful to our congresswoman who has been so concern for the people of Kapatagan. With these medicines, we can help more people in our community”,  Secuya expressed.


The steadfast support of the second district congressional office to the health sector of Kapatagan will further improve the health services in the province and will propel Kapatagan and Lanao del Norte towards sustainable development and progress. LAR/PIO-LDN
