Tubod, Lanao del Norte – To enable the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) to efficiently process the hajj documents of Muslim residents in this fast-rising province, the provincial government of Lanao del Norte donated a brand-new computer set to its provincial office based at the Provincial Government Center, Tubod.
On August 19, 2011, Governor Khalid Dimaporo through the Provincial Community Affairs Office (PCAO) turned-over the one set desktop computer to NCMF Acting Provincial Director Sarah Lomondot Camama.
“I would like to thank PGLDN, especially the honourable Gov. Khalid Dimaporo for giving us this computer. This would be a great help to our work”, Camama expressed.
The desktop computer consists of CPU, LCD screen, keyboard, mouse, audio speaker, and printer.
Last Feb 18, 2010 through Republic Act 9997 (or the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos Act of 2009), the NCMF was created to take over the functions of the abolished Office on Muslim Affairs (OMA).
