Lanao Norte LGU screens new nurses
Tubod, Lanao del Norte – 87 registered nurses took the pre-qualifying test at the Macapagal Training Center (MTC), Tubod, this province for the chance to be hired as staff nurse in the provincial government.Successful applicants will be assigned in one of the six provincial hospitals operated by provincial LGU. Among the provincial hospitals managed by the provincial government are Lanao del Norte Provincial Hospital (Baroy), Kapatagan Provincial Hospital, Sultan Naga Dimaporo Provincial Hospital, Kolambugan Provincial Hospital, Kauswagan Provincial Hospital and the newly re-opened Balo-i Provincial Hospital.
“An applicant must have no relative working in the PGLDN by affinity or consanguinity in any degree”, HRMO Head Eugenie Pusing announced.
Only the top 25 test passers will be interviewed by the Personnel Selection Board (PSB) before the board will draft the final list of candidates that Governor Khalid Dimaporo will approve for hiring.
“This screening process is put in place so we can get the most qualified nurses who will be manning our provincial hospitals. This will ensure that our residents get the best possible healthcare services from these hospitals”, Lyndon Calica explained.
The pre-qualifying test was administered by the Human Resource Management Office. According to Pusing, only seven candidates will be hired from the latest batch of examinees. VNL & LAR/PIO-LDN
