Lanao Norte Provincial Gov’t. hires new nurses
To address the increasing number of confinements in the provincial district hospitals due to improved healthcare services, the Provincial Government is currently screening nurse applicants to augment the existing personnel in said hospitals.
More than 100 registered nurses took the qualifying examination administered by the Provincial Human Resource Management Office last March 10, 2010 at the Macapagal Training Center, Tubod, this province.
“We are giving this pre-qualification test to narrow down our choices for the new nurses who will be hired. I will take more than a month if we let all the applicants pass through the Personnel Selection Board (PSB) screening”, Acting HRMO Eugenie Pusing explained.
Only those examinees belonging to the top 20% or 24 applicants shall be recommended for the PSB screening.
From the 24 applicants only 15 nurses will be hired by the provincial government to be distributed among 6 district hospitals in the province.
The LGU of Lanao Norte is now also hiring midwives, licensed medical technologist, licensed radiologic technologist and medical doctors in preparation for the re-opening of the Balo-i District Hospital. VNL/PIO-LDN
