Lanao Norte Sinulog performance excites NMRAA crowd

The Sinulog Dance Presentation of the Lanao del Norte contingent highlighted the Palarong Pampook 2011 Opening Ceremonies at Mindanao Civic Center , Sagadan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
The dancers from the Province of Lanao del Norte won 2nd place out of 49 contingents in the Street Dancing Category during the Sinulog Competition held in Cebu City last January 16, 2011.
The Lanad of Beauty and Bounty also won 2nd Place in the Float Competition represented by the Local Government Unit of Kapatagan. Reigning Ms. Lanao del Norte Miss Zeny Alcantara from Maigo, Lanao del Norte was proclaimed as Miss Smart and Miss Bioderm Bloom in the Search for Festival Queen.
There were more or less 300 participants who joined the said competition and they were accompanied by Governor Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo, Cong. Fatima Aliah Q. Dimaporo, some LGU officials, chaperons and trainers.
