Tubod, Lanao del Norte – 22 municipal treasurers in this province met last May 17, 2011 at MCC Sports Complex, Sagadan in the capital town Tubod to elect their new set of organization officers.



The election was organized by the Provincial Treasurer’s Office headed by Mildred Hingco, who also serve as an adviser of the provincial chapter.



Elected as new officers of the Municipal Treasurer’s Association of the Philippines (MUNTAP) - Lanao del Norte Chapter were Lilia Imam as President; Ibrahim Ampaso, Vice-President; Tita Pador, Treasurer; Jayhan Amerol, Secretary; Leonila Mendez, Auditor; Melicent Juliada, Public Relations Officer; and Loida Columnas and Joel Marcial as Social Managers.



Immediately after the election, Governor Khalid Dimaporo led the oath-taking ceremony for the new set of officers.



““My administration is not about generating substantial income for the province but my primary objective is good governance”, Gov. Khalid revealed.



Also elected as MUNTAP Board of Directors were Nidalin Sebial (Nunungan), Laurencia Cano (Baroy), Lilibeth Javier (Maigo), Julieta Bustillo (Magsaysay), and Clarita Borja (Bacolod). LAR/PIO-LDN
