The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte is now proudly conducting the Lakbay Lanao for all the officials, officers and employees of the provincial Government to get a glimpse of the Metro Iligan Regional Infrastructure Development Project (MIRIDP).

                Lakbay Lanao program aims at providing the most recent information of the development projects of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte.

                Among the most successful projects of the Provincial Government is the Metro Iligan Regional Infrastructure Development Project (MIRIDP), it is an off-site infrastructure facility that will complement or support Metro Iligan Regional Agro-Industrial Center (MIRAIC), which comprises of two (2) projects components, namely: the road concreting project and the Liangan River Basin Small Hydro Power Plant at Bacolod, Lanao del Norte.

                The road component of the MIRIDP will serve as the off-site infrastructure facility that will support or complement the Metro Iligan Regional Agro-Industrial Center (MIRAIC) in Linamon, Lanao del Norte is a 416 hectares agro-industrial complex which can accommodate downstream and allied industries to complement the national goal of expanding productivity and disperse economic and industrial development and growth in the countryside.

                Despite major impediments, the MIRIDP road component was able to achieve an overall accomplishment of 72% and is expected to be fully completed by June 2010.
