Tubod, Lanao del Norte  – 14 lovely ladies representing different municipalities of Lanao del Norte were officially presented to the public last June 29 during the opening ceremony of Environment day held at Mighty Cave Park complex, Tagoloan, this province.  

The candidates donned on their jungle-inspired costumes and paraded in the main stage built purposely for the Environment day celebration.

“The Mighty Cave Park makes for an excellent backdrop for the presentation of this year’s batch of Ms. Lanao del Norte Candidates. We are also highlighting this latest tourist destination here in our province”, declared Provincial Tourism Head Minda Regis.

Prior to the presentation, the candidates also posed before a throng of photographers during their pictorial session held at the cavernous entrance of the cave. From the group, one candidate will be selected as Ms. Photogenic.

During the Environment day celebration, the candidates were also interviewed by the local media for their selection of the Darling of the Press.

Ms. Lanao del Norte will hold its most anticipated coronation night on July 2, 7PM at the MCC gym, Sagadan, Tubod.

This major highlight of the 51st Araw ng Lanao del Norte is open to the public. The organizers of the pageant are extending their invitation to all the residents of Lanao del Norte and nearby provinces to come and witness this exciting annual event. VNL/PIO-LDN
