Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte widens healthcare services
Tubod, Lanao del Norte – In a quest of delivering quality and accessible healthcare services to the constituents of Lanao del Norte, Baloi Provincial Hospital recently opened, April 6 to cater the needs of medical attention to all residents of said municipality and to its nearby towns such as Tagoloan, Matungao and Pantao Ragat.
“People in any walks of life should be entertained in this hospital and shall be treated with a smile”, said former Lanao del Norte Gov. Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo in her message during the opening program.
This newly opened hospital is an exemplary performance and strong commitment of Gov. Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo in elevating the quality of health services in the province through the delivery of healthcare programs, enhancement of healthcare amenities and access to these facilities.
Dr. Jaime S. Bernadas, DOH-10 Regional Director, assured the administration of Gov. Dimaporo the full support of his department to the health programs implemented in the province.
Meanwhile, Dr. Amida Macalimbon, the acting Chief of Hospital of Balo-I Provincial Hospital, gratefully received the key of responsibility as a sign of the numerous tasks inherited in the position.
Dr. Macalimbon also promised that she will lead in maintaining professionalism among her staff and rendering quality services to the people therein.
The opening program was well participated by the Local Government Unit of Baloi headed by Mayor Hanifa P. Ali, Tagoloan Mayor Mighty Dimakuta, Matungao Mayor Jaber Azis, Chief of Hospital in the different provincial hospitals in the province, Joselito E. Quibranza, Provincial Resource and Management Center headed by Ms. Gemma Harun, Provincial Health Office headed by Dr. Gavina Galbines and Human Resource Officer Eugenie Pusing. ARMS/PIO-LDN
