Senator Bong Revilla, Mayor Ramon Guico and Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo wave to the crowd of people that greeted their caravan along the national highway of Lanao del Norte.Hordes of people came to welcome Senator Bong Revilla in Lanao del Norte as his caravan took him through the coastal towns of the province.

Accompanying him in the provincial sorties is senatorial candidate Ramon “Gets Ko” Guico, a party mate of Senator Revilla in the Lakas-Kampi CMD ticket and President of the League of Municipal Mayors of the Philippines (LMMP).

“Nakakataba talaga ng puso yung pinakitang pagmamahal ng mga taga-Lanao del Norte…balang araw mababayaran ko rin yung pagmamahal ninyo”, Revilla said in an interview.

The caravan of both candidates arrived in the town of Sultan Naga Dimaporo (formerly Karomatan) last March 12 and made stops in the towns of Kapatagan and Lala.

In the town of Kapatagan, both senatoriables spoke before a mammoth crowd in the municipal gymnasium who waited for more than three hours just to get a glimpse of their favorite action star.

Showing also her support for the two senatoriables is former-Governor Angging Dimaporo who was very pleased with the huge crowds that greeted the group in every stop.

Senator Revilla and Mayor Guico are the first candidates to visit the province since the campaign period for national positions started.

On the second day of their campaign in the province, the caravan visited the towns of Baroy, Tubod, Kolambugan, Maigo, Bacolod, Kauswagan and Linamon.

Still, people came in droves and filled the national highway whenever the caravan arrives.

“The more ko ipaglalaban yung karapatan ninyo at yung mga pangangailangan ninyo dito sa Lanao del Norte…hahanapan natin ng paraan”, assured Senator Revilla.

After completing their scheduled pit stops in the province, the group then proceeded to Iligan City for a motorcade around the main city streets.

“You can count me in…Tandaan ninyo meron kayong isang senador sa Senado kung anumang kailangan ninyong suporta dito”, pledged Senator Revilla to the people of Lanao del Norte. VNL/PIO-LDN
