Visitors in the Sinulog Photo Exhibit frantically searched for the answers in the trivia question contest held during the opening ceremony.

To showcase the festive mood and vibrant colors of the Sinulog Festival as captured by the lens of the Provincial Information Office, a photo exhibited entitled “Sinulog 2010: One Beat. One Dance. One Vision.” was opened to the public last February 3.            The exhibit is situated in the main lobby of Gov. Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod, this province and will run from February 3 to 28, 2010.            “This is part of our continuing celebration of our recent victories in the Sinulog. Through the pictures, music and props in the exhibit, people will experience what Sinulog is all about”, explained Provincial Information Officer Lyndon Calica.            The three trophies awarded to the Land of Beauty and Bounty contingent are now also on display in the exhibit area. These trophies represent the victories of Lanao del Norte in the street dancing, showdown and Festival Queen competitions.            With the sinulog anthem playing in the background and props from the latest Sinulog entry displayed in the exhibit area, visitors will appreciate and feel the excitement and pageantry of Cebu’s Sinulog Festival.            During the opening program, visitors participate in a trivia question contest that gave them the chance to win gift packs from exhibit sponsors: Dunkin Donuts and Nature’s Spring.             “We really appreciate this photo exhibit because this gives the people who were not able to personally witness the Sinulog a chance to still see the events of the festival”, Domingo Sacote of Maranding.            The images shown in the exhibit were taken by Noel Curay (PGLDN Official Photographer) and Frank Callaghan (Professional Photographer).            The exhibit is organized by Provincial Information Office in cooperation with the Provincial Tourism Office.
