“Dako kaayo og natabang ang Kabarangayan Sigurado Program kay daghan mi og nakuha nga mga benipisyo sama sa among pag angkon og PhilHealth ID card, libreng medical check-up og libreng mga tambal  labi na sa pagkahospital sa akong bana, “ said Mrs. Bernadette Salisayo of Brgy. Puntod one of the recipients of the free medical and dental clinic and PhilHealth card distribution held at Matungao, Lanao del Norte last February 23, 2010 with the full force cooperation of the Local Government Unit of Matungao headed by Mayor Jaber Azis.

          The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte under the leadership of Gov. Mohamad Khalid Q. Dimaporo, The Provincial Health Office medical team, Provincial Community Affairs Office and Provincial Information Office led by Mr. Lyndon G. Calica, and the Provincial Health Indigency Program team joined hands in delivering the free medical and dental clinic and distribution of PHIP cards under the Kabarangayan Sigurado Program, a Dimaporo Quibranza initiative.

          The former Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza Dimaporo expressed her commitment in the involvement of achieving wellness, comfortable and productive way of life of the people in Lanao del Norte in her message for the said occasion. She also stressed that the residents are so privileged to have experienced this once in a lifetime benefit of free medical and dental consultations with free medicines.

          The program was indeed beneficial to the residents of Matungao, Lanao del Norte in strengthening their healthcare services in the interior areas and they are looking forward to avail more privileges from the Kabarangayan Sigurado Program.

         Along with the abovementioned deliveries, tent and plastic chairs distribution were also conducted with former Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo. These tools were distributed for the residents of the said municipality to facilitate barangay events and other occasions.   ARMS/ PIO-LDN
